Credential Services Application Logo
  • Schlage Credential Engineering Services

Welcome! Please review the collapsed sections below to learn more about these services before starting the application. YOU SHOULD BE FILLING THIS APPLICATION OUT FOR YOURSELF AND THE COMPANY YOU WORK DIRECTLY FOR. Integrators and Allegion Consultants should not be filling this application out for their customers.

    • CardTrax - Credential Sequencing Service (Click to Expand)
    • CardTrax™ account tracking ensures specific credential properties (facility code and badge ID) combinations are unique and never duplicated on any other cards we make. Compatible with Corporate 1000™, the program is available to new and existing customers.

Anyone may request a Standard CardTrax account. Only End Users may request a Restricted CardTrax account. See more details later in this process.

    • SCEKS - Schlage Custom Encryption Key Service (Click to Expand)
    • Schlage Custom Encryption Keys (SCEKS) are only available to End Users. Channel partners (integrators, wholesalers, etc.) cannot apply for, or own, a SCEKS (a key created by Schlage).

Third-party partners, channel partners, and end user customers can indicate within this process if they want Allegion to consume an encryption key that Schlage did not create.

Allegion's Schlage Custom Encryption Key Service (SCEKS) creates customer-owned DESFire encryption. This means that customers can not only have elevated security in their access control systems, but they can also take custody and control of this encryption key and decide which partners they want to work with.

At Schlage, we understand that credentials are the key to a successful access control plan. And we know that some solutions available in the market today can lock you into a proprietary path that limits your options in the future. That is why we offer Schlage Credential Services with programs that are designed to provide you with a whole new level of security, adaptability and flexibility.

    • Stop Collapse
    • Your Allegion Consultant should not fill this out for you. They are happy to fill it out with you. The same is encouraged for integrators and other channel partners - fill it out with your customer, not for them.

    • Schlage SCEKS Custom Encryption Keys are only available directly to end user customers. Please have your customer complete this application directly. If you are listed in the application, you will be notified during the creation process.

    • Please have your CardTrax account number ready before you start this process.

    • Some Advanced Services include:

      • Customized reader configurations via configuration (command) cards,
      • Third-Party / Non-Allegion encryption key consuption.

These advanced services require the involvement and guidance of your Allegion Sales Consultant. If you do not know who that is, please email ElectronicInsideSales@Allegion.com and ask for assistance.

If you do know who that is, please continue in this form, and we will notify your Allegion Sales Consultant and provide them with the resources to assist you with your request.

    • Go HERE to submit a change request for your existing CardTrax account, then close this page. Only existing Account Managers can request these changes to the account. Multiple request types can be done in a single submission.

      • Update Credential Providers
      • Update Next In Line Badge ID
      • Change Company Name
      • Change/Transfer Account Manager (requires current Account Manager approval)

    • Your Allegion Consultant

Your regional or national Allegion Sales Consultant should be engaged to ensure the correct information is included.
    • The Allegion Sales Consultant Email must be an @Allegion email. Please adjust before proceeding.

    • Odd name formatting. Please adjust.

  • Company and Manager Information

WARNING: Spelling matters. Specifically, Email misspellings will break the automated email routing feature of this application and the process will not flow.
  • Your Company's Information

Allegion is assuming that you are filling this out for yourself, not someone else. Populate the following fields accordingly.
  • Account Manager

You should be filling this information out for yourself and your company. Enter your information below. Do not list an Allegion employee.
  • The Allegion Sales Consultant cannot be the Account Manager. The Account Manager must be the customer that will be the end consumer of the credentials they buy - most likely the end user customer, but could also be a channel partner if they are buying credentials on a Standard CardTrax Account (no SCEKS) to stock and distribute to their customers.

Either modify the Allegion Sales Consultant on the previous page, or modify the Account Manager fields above to fix this error before proceeding.

  • Odd name formatting. Please adjust.

  • Credential and Hardware Provider

Who do you buy your access control credentials and hardware from?
  • End Users:

List the Integrator, Locksmith, PACS, or Wholesaler you will be buying cards or fobs from. The Provider you list may be automatically contacted via email as a critical step in the process before your CardTrax account can be created. This step cannot be skipped. Please ensure the email address is entered correctly. Tell your Provider to keep an eye out for an email from "Schlage Card/Fob Services."

After your account is created, you'll be able to request additional  Providers be added to your CardTrax account if needed. Please wait until you receive a CardTrax number to authorize additional Providers.

  • Channel Partners:

If you are an Integrator, Locksmith, PACS, Wholesaler, or other Allegion channel partner looking to set up a standard CardTrax account for your own uses (no SCEKS), the form will allow you to list yourself as a provider below. If you are indirect, list your direct Allegion channel partner. If you are direct, list yourself.

  • Allegion and its employees cannot be listed here. If you have a direct purchasing agreement with Allegion, list YOURSELF in this section. You may receive an immediate email to verify your direct status with Allegion.

  • This request asks for a new SCEKS. Only End Users can own a SCEKS. Therefore, the Account Manager must be an End User. Return to the previous page and correct the Account Manager fields before proceeding.

  • Indirect channel partners should not list themselves as their credential provider. Be sure to list a channel partner you purchase Schlage credentials from that has a direct purchasing agreement with Allegion. You will be able to proceed with this application, but it may not get processed smoothly or quickly unless your organization is actually direct with Allegion.

  • Choosing Properties for CardTrax

  • This is not an order. This process is to establish the properties of your credential encoding for all your future credential orders. You can place an order after you receive your CardTrax account number.

Reach out to your local Schlage Sales Consultant or email ElectronicInsideSales@Allegion.com for assistance.

Other Bit Formats are available upon request, or if advised by your Schlage Sales Consultant.

  • Image-99
  • 40X and 35C are Restricted CardTrax Accounts only available to End Users. Please contact your Allegion Sales Consultant for guidance, or choose a different Bit Format.

  • About Restricted CardTrax Accounts

Restricted CardTrax Accounts reserve each Facility Code for a single customer and are reserved for use by end user customers only. Due to the finite nature of these accounts, they have prerequisites and purchase minimums.

Non-restricted CardTrax accounts do not have limits and are open to all Schlage customers/parnters for use in any volume.

Credential security level is determined by the credential technology you choose (Mifare Classic, Mifare DESFire, Prox), not by the Bit Format. If you're concerned that your organization might be sharing a Bit Format + Facility Code with another organization somewhere in the world, please reach out to your Schlage Sales Consultant to discuss advanced options outside of Restricted CardTrax accounts.

35C - Reserved for former HID® Corp1000 customers wanting to use a Schlage Bit Format equivalent to H5xxxx.

40X - Has a minimum annual purchase requirement of 2,000 credentials and should be used by extremely large customers that consume a high volume of credentials.

Schlage may contact you to validate your request for a Restricted CardTrax account.

  •
  • Schlage Custom Encryption Key Service

    SCEKS
  • If you have an existing CardTrax (CT) account for your Mifare DESFire credential purchases, we recommend you connect your SCEKS to it. Please have your CT number before you proceed.

  • Custom Key Use Case

What will you use the encryption key (SCEKS) for?
  • Migrating from Standard DESFire

Schlage readers can currently support one (1) DESFire encryption key. As your Schlage readers and E-locks are reprogrammed in the field from standard encryption keys to your new custom encryption key, your existing DESFire credentials with standard encryption keys will stop working and will need to be replaced.

Used credentials cannot be returned to Schlage for reporgramming because existing wear, tear, and contaminants may harm our precision equipment.

Customers switching from many 125 kHx prox or Schlage MIFARE Classic credentials will not have this transitionary hurdle because Schlage reader hardware can support simultaneous use of those technologies. A Prox credential, a standard Schlage MIFARE Classic credential, and a custom DESFire credential can function simultaneously on Schlage reader hardware (wall or E-lock).

  • Please reach out to your Schlage Sales Consultant to discuss your existing circumstances before proceeding with this SCEKS application.

If you do not know who your Schlage Sales Consultant is, please email Support@Allegion.com to learn who your regional consultant is.

  • Migrating from HID products

Customers migrating from HID MIFARE DESFire or SEOS credentials/readers may need to replace reader and credential hardware in full due to the proprietary nature of the iClass credential platform.

  • Migrating from Non-Allegion Mifare Classic or Non-Allegion Mifare DESFire

If you're currently Mifare Classic or DESFire credential from a different manufacturer, please notify Schlage in the notes below if you own your encryption key and are willing to share it with Allegion for evaluation.

If you are not using a custom encryption key or are unable to provide it to Allegion for evaluation, your credentials will not be able to make the transition when migrating to a custom DESFire solution.

  • Starting Fresh or Migrating from Schlage Mifare Classic

This should be pretty straight forward!

Customers migrating from any Schlage MIFARE Classic credentials will not have transitionary hurdles because Schlage reader hardware can support simultaneous use of those technologies. Many Prox credentials, standard Schlage MIFARE Classic credentials, and custom DESFire credentials can function simultaneously on Schlage reader hardware (wall or E-lock).

  • Migrating from 125 kHz Prox

This will be an easy transition most of the time.

If you are using a proprietary HID® Indala, encrypted prox, or a rare/custom bit format prox credential, you're prox credential may not work on Schlage readers.

Schalge reader hardware supports most common/standard unencrypted proximity credentials.
